Scrapbooks and using brads?
I recently bought some brads and eyelets for scrapbooking. I don’t understand if what I’m doing is correct though. I put brads on one side of my page, but when I turn the page to design the next portion, you can see the backs of the brads. I just glued a sheet of decorative paper over them, but I can still feel them. Is there something I don’t know? Or is this how it has to be?
It depends on what you’re trying to do, I guess. All my brad-ed items are mounted on top of a contrasting color paper, so they don’t show through the back of the page.
Are you trying to use both sides of a page? If so, mount the pieces on top of the brads, or just use another piece of paper for the reverse side.
Way I see it, it is YOUR scrapbook, and I don’t think any rules apply. I admit I personally have never used the reverse sides of my page papers only because it makes the paper warp really bad.
